Shirly is a passionate educator that uses an empathetic approach with students. While attending a STEM-focused high school, her focus was on accelerating her peers by holding tutoring and mentoring sessions on challenging courses. Before Behind the Book, she worked with after-school programs in low-income communities and with at-risk students.
