Membership in one of the two boards at Behind the Book (BtB) requires leadership, professional integrity, and commitment to our mission and the students we serve in NYC.

The purpose of the Young Executive Board (YEB) is to act as ambassadors for the organization, to fundraise, and to connect Behind the Book with corporations and individuals that want to positively impact the lives of NYC students.

YEB members volunteer their time and expertise to BtB through outreach, fundraising, and strategic support.
