For the past 50 years Barbara has worked in the field of education. She served as a classroom teacher for children with academic challenges, created and led Resource Centers in Europe and in New York City, and for 21 years was the Head of the Lower School division in an Independent School in New York City. She is presently doing private consultations for parents in both public and private schools. Barbara has a BS in Speech Education from Emerson College and a MA in teaching children with learning disabilities and gifted programs from Teachers College, Columbia University.
