Steve Felgran

Steve has had a long career in economics focusing on intercompany pricing and global profit allocation.

He currently works as a Team Leader and negotiator for the U.S. Treasury / IRS where he negotiates corporate income tax settlements with foreign tax authorities. Prior he was an economist and partner at KPMG LLP in New York and Boston. Steve has also been a professor of finance at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business, a research economist with the Federal Reserve System, and a Director with AlixPartners LLP. He has served as a testifying expert in tax and bankruptcy court cases. In addition to his service with Behind the Book, Steve is or has been associated with the STEM Alliance and a financial literacy nonprofit. Steve holds his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University. He is a lifelong reader and has authored numerous articles in his field. Steve has two sons in college.
