David is a Human Resources management consultant. For nearly 40 years, he has helped Fortune 500 and not-for-profit clients answer one compelling question: What makes people great at what they do? A behaviorist focused on recruiting strategy and performance management; David previously led the global Competency Modeling practice at the Empower Group. He is a 1971 graduate of Brown University where he majored in Modern Anglo-Irish literature. David also studied at Trinity College Dublin. After graduation, he received a Watson Fellowship for travel and study abroad. He then spent 12 years in highly selective admission roles, most recently as Director of MBA Admissions at the Wharton School. David has chaired two not-for-profit boards in the arts and currently serves as a Director for The Bellevue Literary Review. He volunteers as a Career Mentor for HIAS where he helps recent refugees with their job search. David reads a lot and writes a little. David is also active in political campaigns that seek to secure our democracy.
